Vol. 16 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LIMERICK COMPENSATION APPLICATION.

asked the Minister for Finance whether an application for compensation, amounting to £20, in respect of damage to his house in April, 1921, was received in his Department from Mr. Doyle, Solicitor, Limerick, on behalf of Mr. James Power, Castlequarter, Fedamore, Co. Limerick, and, if so, if he will state why no acknowledgment of the receipt of the application was sent, and what action it is intended to take in the matter.

No record can be traced in my Department of any correspondence in connection with the claim referred to by the Deputy. If further particulars are given in regard to the nature of the damage and the persons by whom it was done, and also in regard to the date on which the claim was made and the address to which it was sent, further inquiries will be made.
