Vol. 16 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MALICIOUS AND PERSONAL INJURIES COMPENSATION.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the steps to be taken by persons who have received compensation in respect of malicious and personal injuries, and who are desirous of claiming the additional ten per cent. under the Damage to Property (Compensation) (Amendment) Act, 1926.

Payment will be made by my Department in due course to all persons entitled to the additional ten per cent. under the provisions of the Damage to Property (Compensation) (Amendment) Act, 1926, without any special application on their part. I may remind the Deputy that the Act does not apply to compensation paid in respect of personal injuries.
