Vol. 16 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM (CO. SLIGO).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has refused to allow the claim to an old age pension to Mr. Thady Rooney, of Shaneruck, Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo (Reference No. CH. 815) and, if so, what were the grounds of his decision.

The recent claim to the old age pension in this case was disallowed on the 7th May last on the ground of insufficient evidence to show that the claimant had attained the age of 70 years. Two other claims from Mr. Rooney have been previously disallowed for the same reason.
