Vol. 16 No. 21

JURIES (DUBLIN) BILL, 1926—FROM THE SEANAD.

I move that the Dáil agree with the Seanad in the following amendment:—

In the Title, page 2, after the word "Dublin," line 13, the following words added:—"and to permit such a jury to separate in certain cases of felony."

It is simply a minor amendment to the Title so as to bring more clearly under the scope of the Bill and under the cover of the Title the section which enables juries to separate in certain minor cases of felony.

Question put and agreed to.
Ordered: That the Seanad be informed accordingly.
