Vol. 17 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - RADIO RECEPTION.

TOMAS MAC EOIN

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether, in the forthcoming legislation regulating radio reception, provision will be made for the issue of receiving licences to hospitals and blind persons free of charge.

The Wireless Telegraphy Bill will not provide for the grant of free licences for receiving apparatus to hospitals and the blind. These matters may be considered when the prescribed regulations in regard to licences under the Bill are being dealt with.
