Vol. 17 No. 1

NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE BILL, 1926—FIRST STAGE.

I move for leave to introduce a Bill entitled "an Act to make provision for the continuance of the Medical Certification Fund and for that purpose to authorise the payment of certain sums respectively into and out of that Fund and also to make provision for the continuance of a certain enactment relating to the application of sums unclaimed in the Stamp Sales Account."

I suggest that reasonable time be allowed before the Second Stage of this Bill is taken so as to give those interested in it an opportunity of considering it thoroughly.

It is a formal Bill to continue the existing arrangement.

Leave was given and it was ordered that Second Stage be taken on Tuesday, 23rd November.
