Vol. 17 No. 3

PUBLIC SAFETY (EMERGENCY POWERS) BILL, 1926. - LOCAL GOVERNMENT BILL, 1926—FIRST STAGE.

I move for leave to introduce and circulate a Bill "entitled an Act to amend the Local Government Act of 1925, and to make certain other amendments in the law relating to Local Government which are required as a consequence of the said Act."

I am moving for leave to introduce this Bill as the Dáil is not meeting next week. I have thought it well to ask for a First Reading of the Bill to-day.

Leave granted.
Ordered—"That the Second Stage be taken on Wednesday, 1st December, 1926."
