Vol. 17 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PROPOSED RAILWAY EXTENSION (LIMERICK)

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state what action, if any, is being taken by his Department in connection with the proposed extension of a railway line from the Limerick railway terminus to the port of Limerick.

This railway extension is to be constructed at the cost of the Limerick Harbour Commissioners. It can be taken in hand as soon as the Commissioners are able to satisfy me that their resources are sufficient to meet the cost of the railway as well as the cost of the intended dock extensions at Limerick to which the Commissioners wish to give priority.
