Vol. 17 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CORONERS' FEES.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can state the amount of the retaining fee, if any, paid in each county administrative area to the person or persons holding the office of Coroner in such county electoral area.

Salaries vary from £30 to £250 per annum according to area. I will send the Deputy the complete details in a day or two.

Do these include fees? Are there any travelling expenses or fees in respect of special service, such as inquests, for instance?

I have only this general information at the moment. I shall have to make further inquiries.
