Vol. 17 No. 8

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LEIX OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he received an application for an old age pension from Timothy Carroll, Kildellig, Ballybrophy, Leix; whether he is now in a position to sanction payment of same or state the reason why he is unable to do so.

No appeal has been received in connection with this old age pension claim since it was determined on the second of January, 1925, that the claimant was not entitled, on the ground of means, to any pension. If a claim was made recently it might be better if the Deputy would make any further inquiries on the matter through the Revenue Commissioners.
