Vol. 18 No. 16

COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - PRIVATE DEPUTY'S MOTION.

I undertook to-day to give Deputy Connor Hogan an opportunity at 9.30 to proceed with his motion. I meant to object to letting Deputy Connor Hogan in at 9 o'clock but I undertook to give him one hour from 9.30 to 10.30.

I distinctly stated that I would not accept one hour.

Well, for the Deputy's information, I may say that I cannot give him time next week.

On next Friday I can get, under the Standing Orders, two hours.

I cannot give that time. I am taking all Government time from this until Easter.

I cannot accept one hour.
