CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION AND DIVISION OF LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture what progress has been made by the Land Commission in the acquisition of the list of lands in the townlands of Pluckerstown, Kilmoney, Feigcullen, Kellogues, Cannonstown, Bonaghmore, Boston, Cloncumber, Tullylost, and Boherkill, in the Rathangan-Allen area, County Kildare, forwarded to the Department on the 1st of April, 1925, with the names of twenty-seven congests attached, and if he will state when these lands will be divided.

The lands referred to have been inspected and the question of their acquisition is under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he can state what steps are being taken by the Land Commission to acquire lands on the estate of Mr. A. McCann at Dunboyne, County Meath, and if he will state what stage the proceedings have now reached.

The question of the acquisition of untenanted lands at Dunboyne on the estate of A. McCann is under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will direct the Land Commission to provide Mr. Patrick Fanham, Dulane, Kells, who is the representative of a tenant evicted from the Nicholson estate, with a holding on that portion of the Nicholson estate not yet allotted, and which is known as Irishtown.

It is not proposed to provide Patrick Fanham with a holding on the Nicholson estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state when it is proposed to divide the Reynell estate at Lobinstown, Slane, Co. Meath, and if he will also state the cause of the delay in dealing with these lands.

A scheme for the division of the lands is at present under consideration.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state what steps, if any, have been taken by the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Dangan and Readstown, on the estate of Patrick Barry, County Meath, and if he will state when these lands will be acquired.

The Commissioners have the estate referred to under consideration and it is not possible at present to state if or when the lands may be acquired.
