Vol. 19 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. KILDARE ROAD SCHEME.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has received a copy of a resolution from the Droichead Nua Branch of the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union on behalf of the unemployed, calling on him not to sanction the giving away of any further contracts to Messrs. Moran and Co., owing to the slow and unsatisfactory manner in which the work on the Trunk Road Scheme is carried out in the Naas area, and, if so, whether he will state what action he intends to take in the matter.

Mr. HOGAN (for Minister for Local Government and Public Health)

I have received a copy of a resolution from the branch mentioned and am in communication with the County Council in the matter.
