Vol. 19 No. 22

COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR-GENERAL'S REPORT.

I move:—

Go ndintar Tuarasgabháil an Ard-Scrúdóra i gcóir na bliana dar chríoch an 31adh Márta, 1926, do chur chun an Choiste um Chuntaisí Puiblí chun í do scrúdú agus tuairisc do thabhairt uirthi.

That the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1926, be referred to the Committee of Public Accounts for examination and report.

Ordered accordingly.

What time does the Minister propose to give for a discussion on the report of the Committee of Public Accounts for last year, the recently issued report? It has been the practice for the last two years to allow time for a discussion on the report. I think it is desirable that the existing Dáil should have an opportunity of considering the report rather than the new Dáil that is to be elected.

I will consult with the President as to the most convenient day on which time could be found for discussing this matter, and I will communicate with the Deputy.
