CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - EXPEDITION OF LAND ACQUISITION.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have made inquiries relating to the lands of Killeenmore, on the Mills' estate, and also Clonough farm, containing 192 acres, Irish measure, both in the Straffan district, County Kildare, and whether he is aware that 147 acres of the latter have been allowed to grow wild for the last two years, and that the total stock on the farm number 40 sheep, 3 cattle, and 2 old horses, and whether the Land Commission will expedite the acquisition and division of the land amongst the numerous local congests.

Mr. HOGAN

The lands of Killeenmore do not appear to be within the Wilson's Hospital estate or Mills' estate but inquiries are being made as to their present use. The lands of Clonough are not shown on either estate and cannot be identified.
