Vol. 19 No. 25

PUBLIC BUSINESS. - MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS BILL, 1927—FROM THE SEANAD.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider the following amendment from the Seanad.
In Section 29, sub-section (1). After the word "may" in line 7, the words "if it sees fit" inserted.

I move that the amendment be agreed to. It was always intended that the word "may" should apply and that the whole matter was permissive. It is to make that absolutely clear these words are inserted.

Question put and agreed to.
The Dáil went out of Committee.
