Vol. 20 No. 3

WRITTEN ANSWER. - VESTING OF MAYO LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the lands of Greaghans, on the James Brannick Estate (Reference No. S. 4233), Co. Mayo, have yet become vested in the Land Commission, if so when it is expected that the division will take place; if not what is the present position with regard to this estate.

The lands of Greaghans containing 117a. Or. 15p. were published in a provincial list of lands which, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, will become vested in the Land Commission on the Appointed Day.

The owner lodged an objection against the acquisition of the lands which are subject to a Land Purchase Annuity. The Land Commission are in negotiation with the owner on the subject.
