Vol. 20 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LICENSING OF PORTABLE WIRELESS RECEIVING SETS.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he can state whether the licence for a portable wireless receiving set should be taken out at the place where the set is first used, or at the usual place of residence of the owner.

A separate licence for portable wireless receiving apparatus is issued only to a person who already holds an ordinary licence for the possession of apparatus at his permanent address. The owner's normal address is shown on a portable licence, but it can be used in any part of An Saorstát.
