I move that the Dáil sit later than 9 o'clock and that the motion for the adjournment be taken not later than 10.30.
ORDUITHE AN LAE—ORDERS OF THE DAY. - MOTION FOR LATE SITTING.
I beg to oppose the motion. Since 3 o'clock the House has been dealing with this highly important measure, has passed seven sections and twenty-five sub-sections, and has dealt with twenty amendments. I think the progress was rapid and does not justify sitting after the normal hour. I think the President ought to be satisfied with the progress made and that the House should adjourn at the usual hour until 3 o'clock to-morrow.
