No scheme for either county has yet reached the stage at which it can be submitted to the landholders to vote on. The Commissioners of Public Works are in communication with the County Councils of Sligo and Leitrim as regards their making contributions towards the cost of one scheme in each of these counties. Pending the receipt of their replies further progress cannot be made in these cases.
