Vol. 20 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - KILDARE INSURANCE BENEFIT CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he will have inquiries made as to the reasons for refusal to pay National Health (Maternity) Insurance benefit to Mr. Andrew Lettice, of Doctor's Lane, Maynooth, County Kildare (member's Registered No. 117113) by the Ancient Order of Hibernians Insurance Section, Division 1209, 1 Mountjoy Square, Dublin.

Mr. Andrew Lettice ceased to be insurably employed on the 31st January, 1926, and, as he was not entitled to the benefits of the Prolongation of Insurance Act, 1921, not having had 80 contributions to his credit for the two contribution years ended on the 4th July, 1920, he ceased to be an insured member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Insurance Section at the termination of his "free year's" insurance on the 31st January, 1927.
