Vol. 20 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLAIM OF SKIBBEREEN EVICTED TENANT.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he is aware that Miss Julia Cotter, High Street, Skibbereen, who is a daughter of the late Mr. Jeremiah Cotter, of Lisaree, Aughadown, Skibbereen, who was evicted from his farm of thirty acres on the estate of the late Mr. John R. Beecher over thirty years ago, claims as the representative of a bona fide evicted tenant that she be reinstated in her original holding or receive in its stead another holding during the division of lands now taking place; and whether this claim will be inquired into and satisfactorily reported on in favour of the applicant.

The application of Miss Julia Cotter claiming as the representative of an evicted tenant to be allotted a parcel of land under Section 31 of the Land Act, 1923, has been noted for consideration.
