Vol. 21 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DIVISION OF THE EARL OF LEITRIM'S ESTATE, CO. DONEGAL.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he is aware that a considerable number of families in the districts of Carrigait. Downings and Rosapenna, County Donegal, are without any lands upon which milch cows can be grazed; and whether, in carrying through the sale of the estate of the Earl of Leitrim, care will be taken to provide lands for this purpose.

The question of the acquisition of the Leitrim estate, County Donegal, is at present being considered by the Land Commission and, if acquired, the claim of all suitable persons for parcels will be considered when the lands are being divided.
