WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF ROSCOMMON LANDS.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he can state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the Ada B. Jackson estate, Fourmile House, Roscommon, and whether he is aware that seven nonresidential graziers graze most of this farm, and whether he can give a guarantee that it will be divided without delay amongst the uneconomic holders of the district.

The estate referred to consists of 15 holdings of tenanted land. It is being dealt with by the Land Commission which will consider the question of the retention and resumption of the holdings referred to.
