WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF ROSCOMMON ESTATES.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Athagranny, Croghan, County Roscommon (Irwin Estate), and whether he can state when same will be sub-divided.

The Land Commission do not intend to take any action at present with a view to the acquisition of the lands of Athagranny, Croghan, Co. Roscommon, on the Irwin Estate, which are subject to a land purchase annuity.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he can state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Lisavilla, Carrow, Kinnaird and Aughrim, the property of P.J. Fitzmaurice, Elphin, and when same will be sub-divided.

The acquisition of the lands referred to is under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Lisadaly, Croghan, County Roscommon, on the Merrick-Lloyd Estate, and whether he can state when they will be divided.

Proceedings are pending for the acquisition of the lands of Lisadaly on the estate of Cecil Vaugh (formerly Merrick-Lloyd), and it is anticipated that the lands will be divided at an early date.
