The State has already provided financial assistance to encourage the production and publication of popular literature and Secondary School text books. An Advisory Committee has been set up to make recommendations as to the expenditure of the grant allocated for the former purpose. There are serious difficulties which stand in the way of the adoption of the proposal suggested by the Deputy, and I have no evidence before me strong enough to justify action that might lead to the removal of these difficulties.
