Vol. 22 No. 1

SEAN O BRUADAIR

asked the Minister for Fisheries if the Land Commission have acquired the lands of Ballybrone and Waterview the property of H. J. Kirwan, in the County of Galway, and if acquired can the Minister state when these lands will be sub-divided.

The lands referred to appear to be tenanted lands in the townland of Ballybrone which are at present held by Henry John Kirwan as judicial tenant on the estate of Lady Blake (Rec. No. S. 1538) which is being dealt with by the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1923.

Notice of intent to retain this holding pursuant to Section 28 (6) (a) will be published at an early date, and the Commissioners will then consider the question of its resumption.
