Vol. 22 No. 13

ORDER OF BUSINESS.

I stated last week that we would begin with the Vote on Account to-day, but I am desirous of disposing of the Old Age Pensions Bill in order that it may get to the Seanad and actually become law before the date fixed for its coming into operation—the 6th of April. As I understand there is not likely to be a very long discussion on it, I propose to take Order No. 3—the Money Resolution— and to take item 10 on the Order Paper next, that is the Old Age Pensions Bill, 1928, and after that to proceed with the Vote on Account.

Ordered accordingly.
