Vol. 22 No. 13

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BRADY FARM (MAYO).

asked the Minister for Fisheries if the Land Commission has yet acquired the Brady Farm of about 200 acres at Hagfield, Charlestown, County Mayo, for distribution amongst the uneconomic holdings adjoining, and, if not, if he will state the reasons.

Proceedings are being instituted under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, for the acquisition of the lands Treanacally or Hagfield in this matter containing 199 acres 2 roods 18 perches. It is expected that these lands will be published at an early date in a provisional list of lands which will, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, become vested in the Land Commission on the appointed day. The Land Commission are not yet in a position to state when the lands if acquired will be divided.
