As regards the matter to be raised on the adjournment, I have received notice from Micheál O Braonain, Roscamáin, that he desires to raise on the adjournment to-day a question as to the action of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health in requiring his prior consent to the filling of vacancies by the promotion of existing officers under local authorities. Deputy Ryan said that he wished to raise a matter on Question 10 on the adjournment this evening. Deputy Brennan's notice is prior, as I got it in writing last week. I will take the other tomorrow.
