Vol. 22 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BLIND PENSION CLAIM (CO. MAYO).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state on what grounds Bridget Scully, Knockranny, Bohola, County Mayo, was refused the blind pension; if he is aware that her claim was passed by the Kiltimagh Sub-Committee on the 18th February, 1928; that she is 62 years of age, and has a doctor's certificate to show she cannot do any work for which eyesight is essential, and if the Minister will have a further inquiry made in her case.

An appeal was decided in this case on the 10th instant when it was determined that the claimant is entitled to a pension of nine shillings a week from the date of the receipt of the claim by the Pension Officer.
