CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF CAVAN ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether the Land Commission have inspected the McQuaid Farm, Cliffergoole, on the Headford Estate, County Cavan, with a view to its acquisition and distribution, and, if not, when such inspection will be made.

Proceedings have been instituted under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, for the acquisition of the lands of Cloghergoole, containing 56a. 3r. 31p., held by the representatives of Dr. H. McQuaid, deceased, These lands have been inspected, and the owner has accepted the offer made to him by the Land Commission, and a scheme for their division has been prepared and is at present under consideration by the Commissioners.
