Vol. 22 No. 17

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - FISHING FACILITIES IN DONEGAL.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he is aware that landing facilities are needed for small fishing-boats at Mullaghduff, County Donegal; whether he has received a report thereupon; and whether he can arrange for the speedy erection of a slip.

After a careful survey of the site of the suggested landing place at Mullaghduff, County Donegal, I have come to the conclusion that the cost of providing such a slip would be much heavier than the amount of fishing carried on there would warrant. There is ample accommodation for large and small boats at Gortnasate, which is within 1½ miles from Mullaghduff.
