Vol. 22 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CORK WOUND GRANT.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider increasing the grant awarded to Francis O'Callaghan, 104 Lower Glanmire Road, Cork, who was wounded by British forces on the 14th November, 1920, in view of the fact that the wound has rendered him totally unfit for suitable employment.

The claim of Francis O'Callaghan was dealt with by the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee, who, after careful investigation and full consideration of all the circumstances of the case, recommended payment of £30 compensation. I am unable to re-open the matter.
