The number of vacancies in St. Patrick's Training College next September is estimated at 72 and the number in De La Salle Training College 85. The number of applicants for St. Patrick's is 221 and for De La Salle 281. In addition there are 29 pupil teachers (New Scheme) and 6 University graduates, but it is not yet known for which College these may be applicants.
