WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DAIL LOAN SUBSCRIBERS.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has received an application from Mr. J.J. Byrne, Ballymore-Eustace, County Kildare, for the repayment of £10 subscribed by him to the Dáil Loan; also from the executors of the late Mr. Denis Byrne, Ballymore-Eustace, County Kildare, for repayment of £1 subscribed to the Dáil Loan.

There is no record in my Department of an application of the kind referred to either from Mr. J. J. Byrne or from the executors of the late Mr. Denis Byrne. If written applications are now put forward, with any available evidence in support of them, they will be duly considered.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has considered the application of Mr. Martin Murphy, Dowdenstown, Ballymore - Eustace, County Kildare, for repayment of £10 subscribed by him to the Dáil Loan.

There is no record in my Department of an application of the nature referred to from Mr. Martin Murphy. If Mr. Murphy will make written application and submit evidence in support of it the matter will receive due consideration.
