CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - A CO. WESTMEATH ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will state why, on the acquisition of the estate of R. Ashurst, Goadwell, County Westmeath, the holding of Miss Margaret McIntyre (deceased) situated at Ballinacartha, Barony of Fore, was not acquired.

The Land Commission are unable from the particulars furnished to identify the holding referred to. The Land Commission have already acquired or are about to acquire on the Goadwell Estate 2,165 acres for the relief of congestion and in the same district have acquired 610 acres on the Repenstal Estate.
