There is not any application pending before the Land Commission for leave to sub-divide the lands referred to, which are subject to a land purchase annuity.
The question of the acquisition of the lands is under consideration.
asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will state the cause of the delay on the part of the Irish Land Commission in taking over, for the relief of the congestion existing in the district, the large grazing ranch held by Mr. Martin Curran, known as Ballykinava Farm, near Claremorris.
The Land Commission are endeavouring to effect an exchange with Mr. Martin Curran in respect of his lands near Claremorris, which are subject to a land purchase annuity.
