Vol. 25 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CONSTRUCTION OF A ROAD IN CO. DONEGAL.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he has received a memorial, signed by a large number of residents in the Killygordon district (Co. Donegal) requesting that a road be constructed from the Mullaghaneary road to the upper road leading to Ballybofey; and, if so, what decision has been reached by his Department in regard to the proposed work.

The memorial referred to has been received. The proposed road has been reported on by a Land Commission inspector, and the matter is under consideration.

Would the Parliamentary Secretary please state what is the cause of the delay on the part of the Land Commission in replying to, or even in acknowledging, correspondence in regard to this particular question?

That is a totally different question.

I will be pleased to let the Parliamentary Secretary see the correspondence.
