Vol. 26 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - HIGH COURT-OBTAINING OF DOCUMENTS.

asked the Minister for Justice whether his attention has been drawn to the delay incurred in obtaining orders, certificates and other documents in the High Court, owing to the fact that the present Court staff is insufficient to cope with the volume of work: and whether he will take steps to remedy without delay the hardship, inconvenience and expense caused to litigants, claimants and other persons interested.

I am not aware that there is any delay in the transaction of business in the offices of the High Court other than the Examiner's Office. There has been some delay in the Examiner's Office owing to changes of staff, but I am taking steps to deal with the matter.
