The Reports for the Departments mentioned are issued in compliance with statutory requirements to that effect. My Department is required by statute to issue periodical reports on certain matters arising out of, for instance, the Companies Acts and the Factory and Workshop Acts. But there is no statutory obligation to issue an annual report of the Department, and it is not intended to assume such an obligation.
