asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that very grave inconvenience is caused to teachers, managers, and inspectors of National Schools owing to the fact that no edition of the code of "Rules and Regulations" has been issued to the schools since 1921, although numerous and far-reaching changes have been made in the meantime, and if he can now state how soon these Rules will be available for the information and guidance of those engaged in the work of education.

I have under consideration at present the draft copy of the proposed new edition of the code of "Rules and Regulations," and it is hoped that it will be available at an early date.
Can the Minister say if it will be issued at an early date?
It is five years ago since the last edition was issued.
