IN COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - VOTE 52—AGRICULTURE.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £156,082 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1929, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí Oifig an Aire Tailte agus Talmhaíochta agus seirbhísí áirithe atá fé riara na hOifige sin, maraon le hIldeontaisí i gCabhair.

That a sum not exceeding £156,082 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1929, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Minister for Lands and Agriculture and of certain services administered by that Office, including sundry Grants-in-Aid.

This is a Vote that will be the subject of the special discussion.

As we are having a special day for a discussion, in order that we may have an opportunity of testing the views of the House on the Minister's policy on agriculture, to which we, if not diametrically, are very much opposed, we do not intend, on this occasion, to divide the House on this Vote.

Vote put and agreed to.
