Vol. 28 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Co. Cork Uneconomic Holders.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state what steps, if any, the Land Commission are taking to provide uneconomic holders on the Starkie estate, Burgatia, near Rosscarbery, Co. Cork, with additional land from the untenanted lands known as the "Kingston's Farm" on that estate.

The lands referred to comprise a tenanted holding, held jointly by Mrs. Annie E. Kingston and her husband, Thomas John Kingston, as judicial tenants on the estate of R. F. Starkie, Co. Cork, which is being dealt with by the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1923. The Land Commission do not propose to resume this holding.
