Vol. 28 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Additional Land for Limerick Labourers.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will give consideration to the question of acquiring additional land in Co. Limerick for the purpose of allocating an extra, half acre to the tenants of labourers' cottages who are at present in possession of only a half acre of land.

The making of an improvement scheme to acquire land for the purpose of additional allotments to existing cottages provided under the Labourers (Ireland) Acts is a matter for the Limerick Board of Health and Public Assistance. It is understood that proposals in the matter are before the Board.
