Vol. 29 No. 10

Written Answers. - Ardfintan Lands (Galway).

Tomás Mac Giolla Phóil

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether the Land Commission have considered the applications of Thomas D'Arcy and Patrick Fahy of Carrownakib, Headford, Co. Galway, for an addition to their uneconomic holdings from the lands of Ardfintan, now being apportioned; whether it is proposed to grant additions to these men, and, if not, whether he will state the reasons for this decision.

The lands of Ardfintan have been divided by the Land Commission. The applications of Thomas D'Arcy and Patrick Fahy, who live two and a half miles from the lands, were considered, but having regard to the claims of uneconomic holders living nearer to the lands, it was not possible to provide them with enlargements.
