No land in County Kerry has been acquired by my Department for afforestation purposes, and consequently there has been no planting. As intimated by me in previous replies on this subject, no land offered in the county has been regarded as suitable for purchase for afforestation purposes, but should any offers of suitable land be received, the fullest consideration will be given to the matter.
