Seanad Bye-Elections Bill, 1929—Money Resolution.

The Dáil went into Committee on Finance.

I move:—

"Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú go gcuirfar mar mhuirear ar an bPrímh-Chiste no ar a thora fáis aon luach saothair no costaisí is iníoctha le Ceann Comhrimh an tSeanaid fé aon Acht a rithfar sa tSiosón so chun stiúra. toghachán do rialáil a comórfar chun áiteanna ball de Sheanad Eireann a éagfidh, a eireoidh as no a thiocfidh chun bheith dí-cháilithe do líona agus chun ainmniú iarrathóirí sna toghacháin sin do rialáil.

That it is expedient to authorise the charge upon the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of any remuneration or expenses payable to the Seanad Returning Officer under any Act of the present Session to regulate the conduct of elections held to fill the places of members of Seanad Eireann who die, resign, or become disqualified, and to regulate the nomination of candidates at such elections."
