Vol. 32 No. 6

Written Answers. - Division of Mayo Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he is aware that the lands of Mr. Geo H. Acton, Bridgemount, Belearra, Co. Mayo, were taken over in March, 1928, by the Irish Land Commission for the purpose of relieving acute congestion existing in that district, that the lands are still let in grazing, and if he will state when the Land Commission are going to divide the lands.

A scheme for the division of the lands at Bridgemount acquired from Mr. G. H. Action has been prepared and is under consideration by the Land Commission. It is anticipated that the scheme will be put into operation at an early date. The lands were all let for grazing pending that division.
