Vol. 33 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Collis (Co. Kerry) Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether all the lands of the Collis estate, Tieraclea, Tarbert, Kerry, have been acquired by the Land Commission for the purpose of distribution amongst the landless men and uneconomic holders in the district; whether part of the estate has been sold to a wealthy bachelor who is not living in the district or does not intend to live there.

The Land Commission have not acquired the untenanted lands on the estate referred to, but the question of their acquisition is under consideration.

Mr. Crowley

Will the Parliamentary Secretary answer the second part of the question?

I have no information.
